Town River

Concept

The story takes place in a river town made up of wooden building communities. The residents migrate seasonally during the warmer months. Viewing the people drying their laundry outside, it's understood that residents spend their lives in a close and sincere community.

Lighting

The fact that the lighting is a dramatic sunset allows the wooden structures to be more visible due to their materials and the structural design to come to the fore. The Post Process process was also carried out in this direction.

Metahuman

The concept of metahuman was researched and used in the project. Facial animations were added live to the scene controlling each gesture and adjusted to reflect the ensemble of characters in the background.

Level Design Process

During the Level Design phase, it was decided from the reference images that the camera being close to and below the lake would reflect the river town view well. The layout of the structures on the Landscape was done with human life and river use in mind. Trees and vegetation were placed using foliage. Landscape sculpting was made in Unreal following the camera.
