Concept
In a dystopia where technology is advanced in the world, it is discovered that robot energies help people have fun and have better experiences in robot production. In this place, the DJ is fed with the energy cables coming out of the robots. After transferring the energy of the robots to a universal language, namely music, this energy is transferred to all the experiencers in the space with the more organic energy cables mounted on the ceiling.
Process
With our VD collective team, we designed a spatial experience at an event and carried out the entire design process from their stage setup to live VJ duty. During our meetings with the Rollie Projekt team, we presented sketch scene drawings along with 3D sketches so that everyone could agree on the design. Our priority was to design a sustainable element for Rollie team that can be used in all their events and is adaptable to different spaces. Addressable LEDs were preferred because they can be controlled with ARTNET and used Resolume and Touchdesigner software to use an unlimited number of visual variations and different channels of sound as parameters of visuals and different treble sounds in basses.
